We developed the strategy and the action plans for the implementation of energy management at Bakrie University.

Preliminarily, the existing energy management systems were analyzed and questionnaires were distributed to map current working procedures. The project was implemented in collaboration with Danida and the local company Kementerian Energidan Sumber.

We were in charge of designing the framework for an energy management organization, energy policies and guidelines for implementation and general use of energy management in the organization.

‍

The work also included the development of useful tools for monitoring and analyzing energy consumption as well as a time frame for the implementation period.

‍

Finally, a plan was developed to generate attention to energy consumption and energy efficiency and to train specific employees in energy management. The project also used more alternative methods for the dissemination of key messages to the daily users of the University and its employees – i.e. through means of postal cards and cartoons.
