"Central Denmark Energy Planning and Investment – also known as CeDEPI – is supported by the European Investment Bank (EIB) with the resources for consultation and preparation of investments into energy efficiency optimizations in the Region of Central Jutland and 11 of the region’s municipalities. Danish Energy Management A/S has in a framework agreement with CeDEPI and as of 31.01.2018 completed a variation of projects focused on energy screening, energy analysis and tendering, and implementation of energy saving technologies in the following municipalities following projects: The Regional Hospital in Horsens, Herning Municipality, The Region of Central Jutland, Ringkøbing-Skjern Municipality, Horsens Municipality.

All projects have been completed with Danish Energy Management A/S as a fully responsible full-service consultant and they include thermal envelopes, district heating, installations, systems and facilities, as well as investments into solar cell panels. For that purpose, energy screenings, projections and energy labeling have been completed. This contract is a Framework contract with DEM being the contract holder and lead party. The total value of the contract was EUR 17,424,638.45, including the investment costs, tendering and contracting of energy solutions/services, which was fully administered by DEM.

The projects we implemented have the following specifications - The Regional Hospital in Horsens where completion of energy screening and energy analysis for the entire hospital was achieved, including coordination with the General Plan 2013. The project included technologies, such as plumbing, ventilation, cooling, thermal envelope, CTS/automatic control, lighting, heating and solar panels. The recommended energy optimization would reduce heat consumption by 59 % and electricity consumption by 25 %, and induce non-energy-benefits such as thermic, atmospheric and optic indoor climate. The project has been the foundation of the hospital’s further prioritization of renovations in connection to the implementation of the General Plan 2019. Most recently, the hospital has initiated an energy renovation of approximately 25 million DKK based on recommendations from DEM.

Horsens Municipality where the mapping and recommendation of the conversion of preexisting heat supply into new and sustainable sources of heat and/or extension of the district heating network in accordance with the heat plan of the municipality was completed.

Herning Municipality where quality control, projection and tender of energy optimizations of ventilation solutions were completed.

Syddjurs Municipality where projection and tender of improvements to thermal envelopes, including integrated and innovative hybrid ventilation systems, as well as projection of new energy efficient plumbing facility were completed.

The Region of Central Jutland where projection and tender in individual trading contract of solar panels and energy efficient lighting facilities in assisted living facilities were completed.

Ringkøbing-Skjern Municipality where energy screening, projection and tender of individual trade contract of energy optimizations for 9 municipal properties including plumbing, ventilation, CTS automatic control, lighting and thermal envelope were implemented. "
