We assists the Projects Directorate 3, in particular the Energy Department in its wide range of activities and responsibilities, including:

• The technical, economic, financial, procurement, environmental and social appraisal, in line with the Bank’s project appraisal cycle
• The provision of project preparation and implementation support to promoters including management of major technical assistance programmes;
• Monitoring of projects;
• The provision of specific leading expertise in engineering and economics to undertake specific studies or research in a particular area or sub-sector of the energy sector.
