The Environmental Support Programme was the second phase of a comprehensive Danida supported initiative in Indonesia.
The programme aimed to improve sustainable environmental management in support of livelihoods in Indonesia.
We were assigned to implement component 2 of the second phase, which focused on energy efficiency and conservation in industry, commercial and public sectors.
The component was divided into four outputs:
- Establishment of Clearing House for Energy Efficiency (EECCHI)
- Development of Building Energy Codes, Energy Efficiency Guidelines and training, low energy demonstration building
- Energy Auditor certification and training, and pilot activities
- Home and School Competition & Local Government Capacity Building to increase knowledge and enable stronger action through local efforts within energy efficiency through targeting provincial governments, companies, universities and schools
